	HP Deskjet 1280 ... Hewlett Packard Designjet 1280 printer is a very competent printer allowing printing of documents up to a size of A3. I have not had any difficulties using this printer and for certain applications the A3 option is very useful, for example in a design or graphic oriented environment. The quality of prints are good although a full colour A3 print does take its time in printing. The only caveats I have in relation to this printer are the cost of cartridges which can be expensive over time and because this is an A3 printer it does take up more space on a desk than an A4. 	Canon Pixma iP4000 ... was lucky enough to recieve this printer from a lovely person on my local Freegle group. It is still available to buy new but has mostly been replaced by the later model, the IP4600. The only real difference being that the newer model comes with USB connection only, whereas this one can be connected with the older Pin Type cable (which I use). Price This is fairly reasonable (around £80) for a photo printer and the quality means it is definitely worth every penny. Appearance This is a stylish sleek looking printer that would look smart in any home office or study. 	Epson Stylus C42+ ... have owned my c42+ for several years and use it as a spare printer. I wouldn t consider using it as my main printer as it is quite old now and has some annoying faults. I admit some of the faults with the printer are probably due to the fact it has no regular (or daily) use, but there is no excuse for the simple lack of speed. Even in text mode it is quite slow and often takes ages to start printing and then even longer to print a single page. Among the plus points for this printer, is the ability to accept compatible cartridges without destroying the entire printer, the downside is they tend to produce rubbish print quality and dry up too quickly.
