Canon i560 ... have been using this printer for a good few years and it hasn t given me any problems. I like the fact it has a USB slot so you can print directly from your camera. I have done this once and it wasn t hard to do - although I think you can only do it with certain cameras. The ink normally lasts a long time and it tells you on screen when it s running low. However it is normally safe to ignore these messages until you get a warning sign as it will tell you it s low when there is still plenty left. It s fairly easy to set up and there are only 2 buttons on the printer - an on/off button and a button for commands such as continue or stop printing. It has sensor technology s... Epson Stylus S20 ... bought this printer to replace an Epson Photo 830 I had had for 7 years hoping for the same reliability and reasonable economy of the 830. I wish I had read some of these reviews earlier as I have experienced exactly the same problems as others. The printer had only printed 4 pages of text before I got an error message saying the black cartridge wasn t recognised and it was the Epson cartridge supplied with the printer! I replaced it with a new Epson cartridge and got the same message again after printing about a dozen sheets of A4! Canon Pixma iP1500 ... I think of the Canon Pixma iP1500, I think of value for money. So many printers that are cheap to buy are anything but cheap to run due to the, frankly, ridiculous cost of many ink cartridges. This is no such problem with this printer as, despite not knowing off the top of my head the exact price of cartridges, I know they are a great deal cheaper than for those printers in a similar price bracket. There can be no questions marks against the durability or reliability of this printer.
