	HP Photosmart 7450 ... ve had this printer for a while now and am very pleased with it. Photo printing (on premium glossy paper) is better than any photo store - just make sure you select the correct paper type and size for best results (sometimes selecting better quality paper can improve things dramatically, though increase ink use too). Talking of the ink, it uses one black and one colour cartridge so you won t waste coloured ink if you print a lot of b&w documents. The photo paper (6in x 4in with tab) slots in a caddy so there are no misfeeds, in fact the printer has never jammed since I ve had it. 	HP Photosmart 8250 ... HP 8250 IS YET ANOTHER HEAP OF JUNK FROM THIS MANUFACTURER. AFTER JUST THREE OR FOUR MONTHS NON USE, THE PRINTER IS PROGRAMMED TO "TIME EXPIRE" THE INK CARTRIDGES, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE FULL. THIS IS DECEIPTFUL AND DISHONEST, AS NO MENTION OF SHELF LIFE IS MENTIONED ON THE REFILLS, OR WHEN PURCHASING THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT. 	Canon Pixma iP4600 ... falling into the trap of the cheap printer but expensive ink with my previous HP printer, this time I decided to do a bit of research into the cost of ink first. While the Canon is more expensive upfront than some printers though not by a huge margin, it makes up for it in cheaper running costs. The printer itself is a solid unit and has two paper loading sections one at the top which is very much what you would expect from an inkjet and a loading bay at the base of the printer. This was somewhat fiddly to use at first as it took some time to work out how to extend the lower cartridge so A4 paper could be loaded, but once it is done once it becomes easy to do i...
