Advantages: Cheap, good value for money

Disadvantages: slow, neeed to change cartridges

This printer cost me about £58, I bough it because I didn’t have much money and I just wanted something that I could use to print of letters without using up too much ink.

It does the job brilliantly and is excellent quality for the price. The only downsides are that you have to swap over the black and colour cartridges accordingly, and it is a bit slow at printing. Otherwise, if you’re looking for a bargain to print small tasks its excellent.

The inks are expensive if you use the originals at £15 on average for the black and £25 for the tri colour but you can now buy compatibles for a lot less, you’ve just got to look around.

I have the BJC-210 and the cartridges are £20 & £35 each - so I have to use them very sparingly. My dad uses the refills but they can be very messy!

To save even more money you could try refill kits. I use the JR Refill kits and they have saved me hundreds of pounds. They have a website at http://www.inkjet.co.uk/ and also sell compatible cartridges.
