Advantages: Cheap to buy, ok for occasional colour

Disadvantages: Cartridges are quite pricey

I've had my BJC1000 for about 6 months or so now, and although I don't use it much (only really for colour printing) it's not been too bad a buy.

In terms of quality, the colour printing is OK, but compared to the similar models in the Hewlett Packard range, it isn't that great.

However if like me, you're only doing occasional colour printing, then it's a good buy, especially if you can get if from qxl.com for about £45.

Cartridges are a bit on the pricey side for originals - £20 for black and white, and about £24 (I think) for colour).

Using a decent quality paper does improve the colour output quite considerably.
