I recently bought the Canon BJC 1000 after I was attracted by its cheap price. I only needed a printer for my university course and the cheaper the better as far as I was concerned. At just fifty pounds I am extremely happy with my purchase, the print quality is excellent both in black and white and colour. The printing speed is a little slow, four or five pages a minute in black and white around two in colour but hey who is in a rush. If your strapped for cash and need a printer then go for this one you will not be disappointed.
