Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: -
Now, I wanted a fairly cheap, good value for money printer with good ink consumtion and efficient work pace. After much mulling and pulling out of hair, I decided to spend my hard earned cash on the Canon BJC - 1000. It was the best choice I've ever made and to me, a £60 very well spent. I would seriously recommend this to anyone considering a new or seperate colour printer, Resolution is average and print speed is average for an inkjet but it is an alltogether good work horse. On the subject of ink replacement, it costs a mere £5 for the black cartridge and £15 for the tri-colour one - the drawback is that you have to sswop the cartridges over depending on what you intend to print - this is one of the points that make it a budget printer yet an altogether good buy!
