Advantages: Very cheap

Disadvantages: single tank, poor output

I've been using this printer for about 3 months. My old BJC4100 gave up the ghost so I've borrowed this from a friend who got it included with his new pc. I can see why it was included free as it really isn't worth paying for.

Text is ok but it uses a single 3-colour tank so when printing black it comes out a grey-brown colour. Graphics aren't too bad for spot colours but anything like a photo is very grainy and the coulours don't look very true.

Also the ink capacity is tiny, especially as all of the colours are used when trying to print black. Even in the short term you would be better of buying a more expensive printer that uses a black tank and a tri-colour tank.

Yeah, poor printer this. If you've only got about £70 to spend the HP 610C is far superior.
