Advantages: Price
Disadvantages: Cartridges cost
When looking for a quick solution to your printing problems you can do well to consider the Canon BJC-2100 printer which is small compact and easy to use. The machine will allow you to print in colour or black and white and stores the paper throught the top feeder. It prints out pages on an average of 5 ppm for black and 2 ppm for colour. It has a resolution of 720 x 360 dpi and it also prints out photos to a reasonable good quality. It is compatible with Windows 95/98/2000/NT4 and MAC. Cables connect from the back and allows for both the USB or Parallel connection. By comparison to other printers it is cheap, reliable but the costs of the cartridges can be expensive at times. If you are not doing a lot of printing you can put this machine to fast mode and this saves on the printer ink. All in all, I think it is by no means the answer to everybody’s printing demands, but is a good one if you are on a budget.

- 05/10/01 I agree that the cartridges are xpensive but there are alot of compatible types out there which will only cost you about £2.00 each - try MX2.com. Shelley:) |
