Canon BJC 50 ... - capacity: 1 sheets / The Canon BJC-50 is the world's smallest bubble jet printer. Half the size of an A4 page and weighing a mere 900g, its small size does not mean compromises on print speed or quality.

Canon's exclusive Drop Modulation Technology is an advancement in Bubble Jet technology that improves the quality of color printing. Dual heaters in the print head can produce different size ink drops. This results in better color gradations, less grainy output and ultimately, superior color output. The BJC-50 gives you print speeds of up to 5.5 pages per minute in mono and up to two pages per minute color.

The built-in lithium-ion battery means that the BJC-50 can print without mains power - over 100 pages. A universal power adapter is supplied as standard for use around the world.

The BJC-50 has a built-in IrDA port for automatic infrared communication with your PC. There is no need for cables. Data is sent directly from your laptop or PC to the BJC-50 - it's easy and wireless.

Canon BJC-50 is fastest from portable printers. It is necessary to mark quite good printing quality, possibility of work in an autonomous mode and also rather modest dimensions and weight. The replacement of the print head and inkwells has not caused difficulties. The rather compact body is made of dark plastics, work position is horizontal. I recently bought this printer because I wanted a printer that I can carry around together with laptop without having to carry an extra bag. I had a good look at various portable printers and decided to choose this particular because of its light weight, infrared device (saves messing with the cables) and the add on option of a scanner. I found the printing speed and quality to be satisfactory considering the small device. I was disappointed that the paper feeder is an extra (last time I asked it was about £80) which I find to be a radiculous price.
