Advantages: Cheap to maintain, Works perfectly., Good quality
Disadvantages: Small catridges, Not a huge paper tray
Is there a hint of Apple coming into the design market place? Anyway.. Canon's neat square, small foot print ink jet printer does a very nice job of printing fast and impressively when required to do so. Used largely for producing teaching materials, the printer sits very neatly on table top. Canon catridges are very cheap.. (also pretty small,,,, but arnt they all??). Cartridge for this printer is about £5. for B&W and about £12 for the colour. Thats cheap. And you can afford to buy three of four as back up at that sort of price. I prefer Canons software interface to HP. I also prefer the way the cancel button in Canon printer drivers, actually cancels the print job there and then. In all the HPs ive used, hitting the cancel button or software command meant having to watch the printer spew out reams of paper with garbage on them and then have to try and reset the printer to clear the buffer of the endless printing request. Ive witnessed this with my own HP printers and with a Network Managers personal HP printer. ... Im sticking to Canon., and im on my third Canon printer. The Buttons do exactly what they vaguely indicate on the symbol. : )

- 13/03/04 A sound opinion, although unfortunately sorely lacking much in-depth information about the printer itself. I agree with your stance on the Canon printers; I own the Canon i850 (reviewed here on Dooyoo) and it is excellent...
Per haps I could suggest checking out some of the VU/crowned reviews in this section for ideas about the depth required for higher ratings...
Just a little friendly advice, hope it is of use :)
