Premium Review Canon i560: Cannon Printer - still going strong after 6 years (239 words)
by - written on 24/01/09 (Very useful, 39 readings)
Rating:

I purchased this printer over six years ago and it has never given me any problems- (probably tempting fate now) It is used pretty much every day both for black and white printing and for printing Photo's. I find the quality is still really good even after all this time. This is the second Cannon printer that I have bought and I will certainly be buying another when I decide to replace this one. One of the key reasons for buying another Cannon is the cost of the printer cartridges and the fact that they seem to last forever. My Dad had a n HP printer that he hardly ever used but seemed to constantly be buying new cartridges - he got so ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The best printer I've ever used! (413 words)
by - written on 30/05/04 (Very useful, 1031 readings)
Rating:

I purchased my Canon i560 printer and spare cartridges for it from the wonderful ebuyer.com for the bargain price of around £100. I'd recommend shopping around though if you intend to buy one. Although this initially seems like quite a bit for mid-range inkjet, you must bear in mind that the cartridges are simply ink tanks and can be found for around £3 each per colour. Also the ink lasts for ages so this works out a very cheap printer to run. I bought it in replacement of my old Epson Stylus 680, a hideous printer which was unreliable, not particularly good quality and cost an absolute fortune to run thanks to its ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Canon i560: Great home printer (185 words)

I have been using this printer for a good few years and it hasn't given me any problems. I like the fact it has a USB slot so you can print directly from your camera. I have done this once and it wasn't hard to do - although I think you can only do it with certain cameras. The ink normally lasts a long time and it tells you on screen when it's running low. However it is normally safe to ignore these messages until you get a warning sign as it will tell you it's low when there is still plenty left. Best printer I ever had (93 words)
by pmjcg47 - written on 30/10/06
Rating:

Best printer I ever had. Excellent B&W quality, very good colour, fast, quiet, great at informing when something wrong, no-fuss re-start when corrected, very rarely jammed paper, easy to un-jam, very easy to change cartridges, happily took compatible cartridges. Ran out of ink without warning - maybe ink level info would work with Canon cartridges! But alas, it died after 2.5 years - power unit failure. As it cost £100 this made it poor value for money. But it was so good I'm hoping this was a one-off and I would definitely buy ...  Read the complete review
