Best printer I ever had. Excellent B&W quality, very good colour, fast, quiet, great at informing when something wrong, no-fuss re-start when corrected, very rarely jammed paper, easy to un-jam, very easy to change cartridges, happily took compatible cartridges. Ran out of ink without warning - maybe ink level info would work with Canon cartridges!
But alas, it died after 2.5 years - power unit failure. As it cost £100 this made it poor value for money. But it was so good I'm hoping this was a one-off and I would definitely buy another.
