What a great printer! (Canon i865)

I bought this printer a couple of weeks ago. it is jammed packed full of feature, it can even print on CD!
the printer is very silent, having to listen very carefully to hear the whirring noises that a normal computer makes, and I can still put it into 'silent mode' never tried it as you never needs to, its silent already. The kit comes with several accessories. Two adaptors: one for printing on CDs and one for photo paper sizes (4r etc.) these are easy to use although you do have to read the manual before doing so. unfortunately you have to buy special printable CD-Rs to print straight onto CD, despite the manual saying it may be possible to print on normal ones.
The printing quality is excellent and when printing at top resolution you can still find that the paper is coming out steadily. in the box, is a pack of canon's best photo paper, (the pr-101), this paper is amazing for printing photos, the gloss on it is unbelievable and with this printer you cannot see the dots at all, even when looking close.
The picture bridge is very useful if you are already happy with the photos you have taken and is very easy to use. just plug it and press print on your compatible camera.
I like the sleek design of the printer. With a aluminium casing at the top. the printer is larger than other printers but the design compensates for it.
Software included is standard canon software, ZoomBrowser ex etc. the EasyPhoto Print does exactly what it say, makes it really easy to arrange your pictures to print.

This printer is a top printer that deserves full marks. it was easy to set up and I have had no problems with it at all. From photo to text prints the quality is excellent.
