Advantages: Cheap ink, easy to use.

Disadvantages: Not the highest quality of printing compared with todays standards.

I have had this printer for quite a number of years now. I bought it because I knew that Canon was a reliable name and also because the ink cartridges were relatively inexpensive.

The printer has lasted for around 5 years without any problems, only recently has it started to have issues.

The print quality from the printer has always been good and you have a choice as to what quality to set it on. For instance if you are worried about how much ink you will use you can set the printer to print on a draft setting meaning it will not use that much ink.

The printer is very easy to connect to your computer and it automatically sets itself up ready to start work.

The printer is a top loading printer and most normal printer paper or photograph paper can be used with it. There is also a special setting for printing photographs.

The printer comes with instructions of how to clean it and declog it and these are very easy to follow.

The cartrdiges are easy to install.

Summary: A good cheap printer that is easy to use and can be used to print a number of different things.
