Advantages: Fast, good quality,

Disadvantages: a bit heavy

I brought this printer for my own use after getting to Uni and realising that it'd be easier to have access to my own printer for those last minute essay tweaks, not to mention the 'everyday' printing of bank statements, emails and recipes that I never realised I needed, but couldn't cope without now.

This printer is fairly attractive to look at, its sleek black design means that it can quite easily blend in with the rest of your desktop furniture, and it's fold down paper tray is a god send for space saving. It's quite heavy and the leads that are supplied with it perhaps a little too short for conveniant use.

It comes with it's own supply of ink, something which many printers neglect, and it's multitude of different options make it very easy to tweak. For example, you can sacrifice quality for speed and vice versa, and even set it to a discrete 'night time' mode which slows the printing process but makes it almost inaudible. What's even better is that this can be set to automatically apply between certain hours, meaning that you can happily print things without constantly altering the settings manually.

The quality of the print is very good, and for an inkjet printer it is relatively fast too. The only slight problem I find is that it is tempremental with paper loading, you must make sure your paper is set up straight and not too many sheets either or it will through a bit of a fit. Nothing that a little straightening and shuffling won't put right though.

With most computers you get what you pay for, but at barely over 35 quid for this printer, I'd say you were getting a whole lot more.

Summary: A great bargain buy
