The Canon S750 is an outstanding printer.
Simple, fast, reliable, excellent output and cheap to run.
The Canon approach of using separate cartridges for each colour of ink is obviously more economic than having a big all-in-one colour cartridge that has to be changed when the first colour runs out.
The gravity feed system where paper is fed into the printer from the back is more reliable than the HP method where paper is picked up from a tray underneath the printer. It does however does mean the printer takes up more space.
I don't have a digital camera so can't vouch for photo quality printing, but text and graphics on ordinary paper are crisp and clear. The printing speed is good and the printer is quiet in operation.
