The Epson 900 appeared a while ago with an upturn in speed. It could print a fair few pages in a minute, as long as they were text with little pictures. This though was great as an office printer and was off putting by price. The 980 follows this with similar price and very clone fashion looks. Still it remains a better office printer as the speeds are now faster with a slightly improved edge to it. Rather like what the 850 did to the 800.
