If like me you don't do a lot of printing but nevertheless want a good quality, reasonably cheap printer for the occasions when you do want to print, then you could do a lot worse than invest in this.

Generally available for around £60 - £70 the Epson's main advantage is it's cheapness to run. Cartridges retail at about £12 for a black cartridge & £15 for the colour. Not bad at all considering I have had mine 8 months & haven't changed it yet.

The build quality is excellent. I gives the impression it could go 12 rounds with Mike Tyson and still be in 1 piece.

Installation is doddle, a good clearly lablled manual is provided that takes you through the initial setting up of the printer and once you've mastered that, away you go.

The only downside is the noise. Switching it on greets you with a noise that sounds like my car is starting up. There is plenty of chugging & whirring when it is printing but the print quality is excellent.

Overall, provided you can put up with the gurgles, an excellent investment.
