I bought my Epson Stylus Colour 740 about 18 months ago, and it has yet to let me down. At the time it was a mid range printer and appeared to be very reasonably priced.

The 740 will to print good quality photographs at 1440 dpi resolution. The standard text printing is of a high quality even on cheap copy paper.

The printer has a dual ink cartridge system which I find much more economical because i mainly use black and white printing so I do not feel I am paying unnecessarily for a colour cartridge when it is not always required.

I would have no qualms in recommending the epson stylus 740 colour printer for anyone wantimg a mid range printer
