Advantages: quick printing, good quality

Disadvantages: head cleaning is lengthy

We use a printer a lot at home. It is on the go several times a day for various reasons and it takes some abuse.
Originally we had an Epson Colour 600 that we bought several years ago and it did us just fine but when it packed up (as these things eventually do!) we decided we would prefer to get something a little quicker to print with.
The 850 is certainly that!
I have to say that there is very little difference in print quality, but it is heaps faster!
We have a digital camera and it prints out photos of our little boy on a daily basis and it does a damned good jobof it too.
Our holiday photos last year were printed out on it and, put into an album, you are hard-pressed to tell that they are not from a conventional camera.
The only gripe I might have is the print head cleaning time.
It cleans the print heads every so often and it takes about 5 minutes each time. Admittedly you can choose whether to clean colour, black or both, something you couldn't do on the 600, but it is a little frustrating then you just want to print something quickly and it starts cleaning.
That aside, it's an excellent machine
