Epson Stylus Color 900

In the printing industry this printer is regarded as probably the fastest and most reliable out there. As a person from the industry myself i rate this printer highly. If you want very fast printing speeds then this is the printer you need. It is capable of printing upto 1440dpi(dots per inch) and has variable settings in the easy to use Epson control centre. It can print over 4 A4 pages of text a minute and can quickyl print a high quality image in moments. Epson has built an enviable reputation over the last couple of years for the quality of its printers, particularly when it comes to the reproduction of photos. The Stylus Color 900 whilst maybe a little expensive for home is a great printer. Epson's inkjets are based on piezo-electric rather than thermal technology, which the company claims is the reason for its ability to produce the smallest ink droplets in the industry - three picolitres. There has been a constant battle between Hewlett Packard and Epson over which has the better printer. Well, in my opinion, Epson wins. After personally owning some Hewlett Packard and Canon printers, the quality of the Epson is stunning in comparison. This printer is just about the best value going for the SOHO user. Epson's Stylus Color 980 is a big, no-nonsense inkjet printer, capable of printing pages up to oversize A4 in a conventional way, from a paper tray angled at the back of the machine to a telescopic receive tray, which folds down and pulls out from the front. I was bought this printer for work by a loving boss!! When I first used it i was stunned by the speed that it printed but then i realised that the test page wasn't at a very high reolution. Yes, the colour photos you print on this machine can come out looking absolutely superb but only if you are prepared to wait 25 minutes for one page!!!
