I got this printer free with my last PC over 4 years ago. At the time I was thrilled with it, as it was my first new printer (previously I'd had second one printers handed down to me by friends or family members who'd upgraded, etc). ~*~PRO's AND CON's~*~ If you want a printer just to knock out a bit of basic correspondence and a few basic colour images then this is absolutely perfect for this purpose. Printing out basic letters, spreadsheets, college assignments (as I was doing an evening course 2 years ago), I was more than satisfied with the print quality for this kind of printing. When you print something in draft quality ... Read the complete review

It was a sad event when my HP OfficeJet 590 printer/scanner/fax combi machine died, but alas there was not much I could to about it. I checked the standard things, but soon came to the conclusion that what I had here was a bust machine that needed servicing. And presuming that servicing would cost quite a bit (maybe) for such a machine, and that there were new budget printers that would cost the same as that, I decided to follow the innocent lure of a new purchase and ditched my machine in search of a new one. I now own an ickle baby Epson C20SX. I have a fax modem and a flatbed scanner too anyway, so I've not lost out. The C20SX (like it's USB sibling ... Read the complete review

When my old Epson Stylus Colour 400 died after 6 years of faithful service, I've got to admit, I only really looked at one manufacturer - another Epson. For me the choice wasn't difficult. I wanted a top quality photo printer, but until I get a digital camera outfit, there seemed little point in spending the £200 + on something I wouldn't use...yet. So I chose to go for a budget printer that would tide me over until then and do the small amount of black and white and occasional colour printing I do. The budget end of the market is fairly sparse, with printers from HP, Lexmark and Xerox offering low cost. But the former two also offered low ... Read the complete review

This Epson Printer cost me £59, but it has been advertised for £49 more recently. Attractively designed and easy to use, it is the perfect home office printer. Probably not ideal for workplaces which are printing out high quality photos every day but for home use such as printing out pictures and text either for homework or pleasure, it is a decent enough printer. The C20SX has a parallel connection. Mine is a C20UX which is identical except that it has a USB connection instead. The paper tray folds neatly away underneath the printer so this beast takes up hardly any room. It prints about 6 pages per minute and you have the choice to make on screen whether it ...
