Newest Review: ... in no time at all. The ink cartridges are easy to install and as with most Epsons are individual. This printer has 1 x cyan, ... more

... 1 x magenta, 1 x yellow and 2 x black cartridges. I initially thought that the second black cartridge was optional but the printer won't operate without both black cartridges. This was my only main annoyance as I purchased a replacement set of Epson cartridges in the store as recommended by the shop assistant but these multi-packs only contain 1 black cartridge so when it come to changing the ink, my printer wouldn't work. I now use unofficial epson inks off ebay and these are extremely cheap and I can purchase...more

Premium Review Epson Stylus D120: Great Value for Money Inkjet Printer (284 words)

Rating:

I purchased this printer for use at home, for printing off various documents, photos and we even used it to print the wording on invitions for our wedding and it performed fabulously. I now even have the same printer at work linked directly to my machine so I can quickly print out documents when I'm in a rush. I was more than impressed with the speed of printing when using the Epson D120, it perfroms much quicker than any inkjet printer I've had previously, or if you want to print a photo in high quality you can bump up the settings for a more professional print. The printer was easy to set up and I had it working in no time at all. The ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review good family printer (310 words)
by - written on 09/11/08 (Very useful, 76 readings)
Rating:

This Epson printer looks like a quite poor quality family home printer. I don't mean its design as it actually looks quite cool. However just because its shape looks like all the other rubbish quality printers that came before. This printer however is really good quality, and Epson even boast it makes a sensible alternative to a laser printer in the home or office. This printer shows you, that you can get the same quality and speed from an inkjet printer as opposed to an laser printer. Also its cheaper than a laser printer, infact a lot cheaper. you could buy on of these for around £50, where as a laser printer could cost anything up to £500 and might not even ...  Read the complete review

Epson Stylus D120: Not recommended (165 words)
by A.B. Dobie - written on 14/04/08
Rating:

Pro's: Excellent print quality and fast printing, especially on text only setting. Easy cartridge replacement - a vital facility for the reasons given below! Cons: Extremely thirsty, losing about 5% of the minute ink capacity every time it is switched on, due to head cleaning. The maximum paper weight is nowhere specified, but it will not accept 240g card unlike the C86. Probably includes the maddening in-built pre-determined lifetime after which it just dies. Obviously designed with maximum profit for minimum consumer satisfaction in mind! Not a printer to be recommended unless one is willing to meet the high running cost. It is very ...  Read the complete review
