Epson D88 Printer (Epson Stylus D88)

Advantages: Good Quality Printer Disadvantages: Ink seems to run out quick This is the current printer i use at work & it does the job pretty well. It is small and light so will not take over your home or office. Dimensions are 460Wx242Dx198H and the weight is 4.6kg unboxed (or 7.5kg boxed). This printer has a low noise level so not too disturbing and the inks are pretty cheap too. This printer takes the standard colours of black, magenta, yellow and cyan. Codes for replacement inks are TO611, 612, 613 and 614 and a pack of all four inks can be picked up for around £9.99 or cheaper from sites such as ebay. Print quality is good. The only thing i have found with the D88 is that although the cartridges are cheap they run out pretty quickly too, especially the black ink so if you do a lot of printing you may want a more upmarket printer than this as this model is pretty basic and can be picked up for around £55.00. Print speed is up to 22ppm for black and 12 ppm for colour so not bad. Takes A4, A5 and B5 sizes of paper. Print quality is 5760x1440 dpi. High quality printing produced but not really suitable should it be in constant use. Summary: Pretty good for a basic printer
