Advantages: Affordable A3 printer, value for money

Disadvantages: Not the latest printer, takes up desk space

I'm a photography student at Manchester Met Uni who works primarily in digital so I was looking for a high quality reasonably priced A3 photo printer. The technician highly recommended this printer and in fact at uni there are 3 of these in the art department so naturally I splashed out and i'm not dissapointed. The print quality is great but obviously the paper quality is a key factor in getting good results. To buy it now you're looking at around £160 which is a steal and the peripherals aren't too pricey compared to some photo inks either. Setup is relitivly easy, and the print dialogue box is straightforward, slightly technical but nothing too complicated. The only negative is the amount of space it takes up, but for an A3 printer its expected and wasn't too much trouble to find a place for it! There are better examples out there as its not the most recent technology but you will be paying much more money, this printer is great value and wont let you down wether you're printing photos or documents.

Summary: Recommended for affordable, large scale quality photo prints.
