Epson Stylus S21 Reviews

Three weeks old and will not recognise original Epson cartridges, as a result it will not print. It is being returned tomorrow! Think twice before you buy one of these, you have been warned!!!

Same here (again). I'm just about to box it up and try for a refund. Had it three weeks.

20 copies and ink cart 'empty' (?). No warnings, reduction in quality or indication of depleted cart before cutting out Took a chance and bought in a rush after a Hewlett Packard, as it was cheap, hoping the old problems (noise and short cart life) had been sorted: they haven't!!

I'm never buying Epson again...

Same here. The S20 will not recognise genuine ink and refuses to print. Mine is sitting in the garage. WASTE OF MONEY!

3 days old and now useless! It has decided that the carridges supplies with the printer are not genuine and will not print!
Looked very good quality prints at the start but by about the 10th page I needed to clean the print head and quality went poor.
This is also the noisiest printer I have ever heard.

I don't think that I will get another Epson, too unreliable in my experience.

Just like the earlier S20 the Epson S21 has the same problem/fault, it cannot recocnise genuine inks and half full cartridges. When this occurs, the printer will not print and becomes useless. Epson Technical help suggest unplugging and cleaning terminals. It does not help. I had a S20 last year with this problem and it drove me mad. I wasted £ s on cartridges and am doing it again - my S21 is 3 weeks old!
