	Epson Stylus D92 ... other half took over at this point, I think he was afraid I d throw the whole thing through the window. I would have hoped that simply plugging into a spare USB port and installing the hardwear via disc was easy, but I am afraid it beat me! I have to say that the manufacturer s handbook was next to useless, although once we d got the thing connected I did spot a web address and phone number for Epson s troubleshooter guide hidden among the other information in the handbook! 	Epson Stylus S20 ... bought this printer to replace an Epson Photo 830 I had had for 7 years hoping for the same reliability and reasonable economy of the 830. I wish I had read some of these reviews earlier as I have experienced exactly the same problems as others. The printer had only printed 4 pages of text before I got an error message saying the black cartridge wasn t recognised and it was the Epson cartridge supplied with the printer! I replaced it with a new Epson cartridge and got the same message again after printing about a dozen sheets of A4! 	Epson Stylus Photo R220 ... become a dad at the same time so I couldn t afford a big do everything printer. I read lots of reviews that praised the photo quality but at the same time criticising the text print quality so it sounded like it would fit my needs perfectly. I also wanted a printer that was cheap to run and so I made sure before buying that it would take substitute inks that are far cheaper than the ones from Epson (£10 per set compared to £10 per ink). Externally the printer is a nice looking simple with rounded edges. It s plesant on the eye in a silver and grey colour and it folds up neatly when not in use so as not to take up too much space.
