THE HP 8250 IS YET ANOTHER HEAP OF JUNK FROM THIS MANUFACTURER. AFTER JUST THREE OR FOUR MONTHS NON USE, THE PRINTER IS PROGRAMMED TO "TIME EXPIRE" THE INK CARTRIDGES, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE FULL. The Photosmart series is well known for its good quality. Hp's view of this printer was that it would print quickly, but still maintain relatively good quality of the images. It takes about 12 seconds to print at the lowest quality, and about 40 seconds on the best. It also has an LCD screen that makes it possible to edit images without having to connect it to your computer. You can even plug in your memory card directly to the printer. It is Ochsen a USB jack at the bottom right, where you can connect your camera directly to the printer.
