HP 2500 CM ... capacity: 410 sheets - parallel, 10/100Base-TX / Hewlett-Packard offers a Professional Series color inkjet printer HP 2500CM for business environments with a network connectivity option. This PC and Macintosh compatible model allows small workgroups of up to 10 users to print at speeds of 7.5 pages per minute for color, 9.5 ppm for black text. Three print modes offer users a choice of print quality and speed to suit different printing needs. Econofast has the fastest speed with acceptable print quality, Normal offers the best combination of speed and quality, and Best produces the highest print quality at a lower speed. The Photo Resolution Enhancement II (PhotoREt) and ColorSmart II technologies choose the best color settings, dot size and resolution to yield photo-quality color prints.

The HP 2500CM uses a modular ink delivery system with separate ink cartridges and printheads with built-in sensors to create an integrated printing system. These four separate ink cartridges and printheads are easily replaced and save up to 30% of printing costs over comparable desktop color printers. Print on plain and special papers, transparencies, labels and envelopes, up to 13 x 19 inches in size. The printer comes with two paper trays, one 150-sheet and one 250-sheet capacity. A bi-directional parallel cable is needed for connecting the printer. The 2500CM is compatible with Windows 3.1x, Windows 95/98, Windows NT 4.0, and MS-DOS. It includes Adobe PostScript 3 support, with enhanced HP PCL 3 printer language and 110 TrueType scalable typefaces. This model comes with a HP JetDirect 400N MIO internal print server for 10/100Base-TX, which provides support for Macintosh via EtherTalk for Apple System 7.0 and later.
