HP Deskjet 3650

I have had this printer for a good few years now and I know that I can always rely on it. It has never let me down even when other printers in the house have had a hissy fit, jammed up and stopped working. This on is compact and certainly meets all my printing needs. HP DeskJet 3650 I won this printer 2 years ago with Dooyoo, which was a pleasant surprise just near Christmas. This printer has been used for printing my CVs and my assignments. As I didn't buy this printer, I don't know the original price but I'm guessing like most HP printers, it would of cost between £100-200 depending on the time of purchase. You can buy this printer starting from 9.99 on Ebay and Ebuyer.com is selling it for £25 + £ 5 delivery. HP Deskjet 3650 - Great when it works! I've had this printer for a few years now, and when new it produced entirely acceptable results for a student / home office set up. Pages of black and white text were reproduced at an acceptable speed, and even on the draft quality were perfectly read-able. For work that was to be handed in or where better better finish was desired, bumping the quality up to normal was all that was required. The best setting really was somewhat redundant as if the printing was sharper as a result (I couldn't tell the difference) then you would only have to wait longer for each page to arrive. Before buying the 3650 I was already a fan HP printers. Having worked in an IT department I'd seen their bulletproof build quality first hand. I was looking forward to getting my hands on my own. Setup was quick as you'd expect nowadays, maybe 10-15mins including installing the drivers and then doing a simple calibration test. My first few pages printed very quickly and I was happy with the quality of the output. Then I decided to pop an envelope through. Clearly envelopes are like kryptonite to this particular model.
