Crowned Review HP Deskjet 3820 - Noisy but reliable! (1015 words)

The Hewlett Packard Deskjet 3820 was my first foray into the realm of HP printers and cost me £89.99 about a year ago from Dixons. It can now be purchased from www.lowestontheweb.com for just £70.18. It is definitely one of the heaviest printers I have ...

The 3820 is a very good printer. It has an easy installation procedure and you can be printing in minutes. The print speed is excellent it can do a page of text on draft mode in about 2 seconds, 15 seconds in normal print mode and about a minute in best print quality. It has a wide variety of options for different types of paper though if you choose paper other than HP's own you may sometimes find your other options resticted. It has a great ink saving scheme with scroll bars to indicate how much ink you plan on using and how long you wish to wait for it to dry. All of that is done on your computer screen using superb HP technology. The print quality itself ...
