I always used HP printers as I have always found them to be reliable and the print quility good. I have owned this printer for just over a year now and have had no problems with it.
For a desktop inkjet printer the quility of the print is really good and it prints photos well too. This printer uses two cartridges, one colour and one black. The colour one does seem to run out quite quickly, especially when printing photos. The black one however lasts well. The cartridges are also easy to replace and you get a warning on your computer monitor telling you when the levels are running low.
You can print either via a usb connection or by ising the wireless facility. I have not used the wireless facility though as I confess to being a bit of a 'technophobe' when it somes to stuff like that!
The maximium paper size is A4 however envelopes are marked out on the paper tray for ease of printing.
I think this printer is a must have for any office!
Photo printing seems almost as good as my Epson 2100!. The built in wired and wireless printer server work fine.
There is no real paper tray for the output. If you want to print 20 page documents you need to figure out hot to stop the pages falling on the floor.
The cartridge holder seems flimsy. The spring in mine broke yesterday and damaged the flexi PCB inside. The resulting printer is scrap as I can't find spares.
Will I buy another one? Not sure.
