Premium Review HP Deskjet 710c: Good reliable printer - not laser quality though! (767 words)

We have had this printer for years! It's an okay printer, though I would assume there are better newer ones in the price-range nowadays... It's perfectly okay for home use & student use (if you're not an architect or designer - I'm not, & assume those might need something better), a few BAs have been printed on it too, as ...  Read the complete review

I was brought this printer 18 months ago now and have never had any problems with it up until now. When I brought it, it cost £99.00 from Comets. I use HP premium photo paper, which produces excellent photos that look and feel like the real thing. When printing you can chose from Best, Normal or EconoFast in setup, I print in Normal but ...  Read the complete review

I have had the Hewlett-Packard deskjet 710c for about 2 years now and certainly wouldn't change it for a different model. I get this printer as part of a package deal from Currys, but only by sheer luck, as the printer that I was supposed to get was a canon and was out of stock so I got an upgraded one (HP deskjet 710c.) After ...  Read the complete review

Since i bought a PC i have always used HP deskjet printers. The first printer that i had was a HP deskjet 500c this was a brilliant little printer that only printed black but was still very quick and quiet. When i wanted a colour printer i went in search of the cheapest best quality printer that i could afford for the price of £100. I found that ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on HP Deskjet 710c

I actually have the 712c. I have had no problems with it and would recommend it to anyone. - Advantages: Great color resolution, easy to use, takes up less space because the paper goes into the front and out of the front - don't need to have space above it to put paper in. - Disadvantages: none

About 2 years my dad went out and bought me a hp 710c from our local office world for £89.99. Previously i had a lexmark 3210 and the cartridges never seemed to last for long. As i had a project to do for my graphics i had to do something, and fast! After he bought it, i loaded it up and i was amazed at the quality of printing. Especially with ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review HP Deskjet 710c: I hate printers (275 words)
by - written on 08/03/01 (Useful, 75 readings)

They're a constant source of annoyance and a constant drain on money. That's what I thought before I got the HP 710C. I've always had bad experiences with printers - be it the old Deskjet 320(?) - it's so long ago I've forgotten the number. That used up ink like a stretch limo uses petrol. It also had an annoying tendency to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not the best (99 words)

I bought a 710c approx 6 months ago - the print quality is OK - not the best, but certainly passable. The printer itself was relatively cheap - I picked it up for about £60 from PC World - who aren't the cheapest I wouldn't imagine. The costs soon add up when it is time to purchase a new ink cartridge - they run at about ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review HP Deskjet 710c: A great printer at a great price (310 words)

I have owned a HP710c printer for just over a year, and i cannot fault one single thing about it. Number one, it looks good, which is always a bonus though never essential. Most importantly though is its performance. Most of the time, I print using the 'Econofast' setting. While this saves a lot of ink, the quality is almost as ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Top and Cheap!!! (109 words)
by - written on 03/11/00 (Very useful, 66 readings)
Rating:

This is another great home printer. It was quite cheap to buy (at about £100) and it was provided with 2 cartridges (saving me £50 in the process). The cartridges are again quite expensive, at about £30 each, unless you buy a do it yourself kit which is about £15. The quality is of a very high standard, and it prints at quite a good rate of about ...  Read the complete review

We bought a Hewlett Packard deskjet 710c, when they were new out. For a quite expensive price of £220. It looked good, and it had a good name. So, why not? But, now I feel quite ripped of. I, saw the same printer in the catalogue for £60, which was quite furstrating. Not, only that I am quite disappointed with it's performance. It's ...  Read the complete review

My Desktop 710C has served me well.It has always been consistent and clear , if a little slow. The only gripe which I have to raise is that in order to operate it you have to shell out £10 for a printer cable. This is a nasty , concealed hidden cost and one which lowers my opinion of Hewlett Packard.Upon purchase I was not informed I would need a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review HP Deskjet 710c: HP815 - for £41 (133 words)
by - written on 08/07/00 (Very useful, 217 readings)
Rating:

Have HP gone mad with their numbering? I bought an HP815 from QXL for £41 (plus delivery) and the only thing to distinguish it from the HP710 is the number on the front! This is an excellent machine for the light user, printing is dreadfully slow on high quality colour (make yourself a cup of tea, and a sandwich) but it rips through my draft ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Good family printer (86 words)

We have had our 710C for about a year. We use it as a family machine and for that it serves us well. However, it is too slow for heavy usage -- printing out long reports, lengthy papers etc. For that I have a laser printer which I have never regretted. Colour is pretty good -- we use it for photos (on standard inkjet ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review HP Deskjet 710c: Great quality....but slow (117 words)
by - written on 24/06/00 (Somewhat useful, 49 readings)
Rating:

The HP 710c is a fine printer, it reproduces high quality images, and was pretty easy to install thanks to Hewlett Packards usual good interface, its drivers also come on Windows so you can reinstall it easily. However the printer is slow, it takes a while to print out a high quality colour image, although black and white images/text print fairly ...  Read the complete review
