I have had this deskjet printer for many many years now, and have to say that is one of the few pieces of technological equipment I have owned that has worked consistently and reliably without fail to this day.

As it is quite old now, it does run quite slowly, and is very noisy to listen to as it chugs away, but the print quality is generally very good, and is often faster for black and white or draft prints instead of colour. If noise and speed are issues for you it would be better to perhaps purchase a laserjet printer instead of this model.

The cartridges themselves last quite a long time, but are relatively quite expensive to replace when they run out, which can make a printer such as this quite an expensive purchase to maintain.

Nevertheless, if you wanted to own a reliable, relatively cheap deskjet printer, the HP Deskjet 720c is a very fine choice to make.
