Good buy for printing reports (HP Deskjet 930c)
Member Name: faizamansoor
Advantages: Fast & good quality Disadvantages: Ink does not last as long as Canon
I did a lot of research before buying my printer & couldn't decide whether to get this or the Canon BJC 6200. After a lot of advice, I heard that HP were longer lasting & so decided to go for this model. After my last Canon BJC 10 manual feed printer, this HP was a big improvement on speed and quality. It took me ahile to work out that the printer needed to be calibrated before prinintg for the 1st time. The print speeds are very fast, about 7 ppm colour draft. Draft quality is good enough for a formal report. The printer gives a visual indication of the ink level in each cartridge using the toolbox. The ink cartridges are refillable. Some advice would be to go to a computer fair where a refill costs £7 for black & £13 for colour or the cheapest high street store would be Maplins which has the same cost but half the amount of ink in the bottle. Black ink lasts for approximately 500 pages of full text. Summary: |
