HP Deskjet 940c

It was my dad's 60th birthday last week, and as my pressie to him, I bought him a printer for the PC my mum was going to buy him. Now, I knew he was going to be slightly annoyed with me because he already has a printer - an old HP DeskJet 550C, but seeing as one of the reasons he wants his own PC is because he's the chairman of a local charity fundraisers, and the current printer simply isn't up to scratch. After my old printer getting a bit annoying not printing in the best colour and then printing things out green I thought it was definitely time to move on to a new printer. I had recently heard about Hewlett Packard and also new they were fantastic because I have used their printers many times. Having owned a Hewlett-Packard deskjet 610c printer for the past 3 years without any problems at all, When it went wrong last week although I was most miffed as you can imagine it did seem like well fairs fair, maybe it needed a service, after all 3 years without a problem wasn't bad really. Hewlett Packard have a new printer out, yes it’s the all new 940c. Now, don’t get too excited, because it’s much like the 930c, just with a new look and a couple of extra specs. Why HP feel the need to keep bringing out new printers when they are selling one really well anyway I don’t know, but hey, gives me an extra review to write! On the outside, the printer looks very nice and indeed, more sleek than the 930. The main difference on the outside is the transparent panel on the top cover of the printer. this is a great buy. Its a low-price and the fastest i have ever seen apart from the expensive bulky laser printers. It can only be bought in grey. Three buttons and three indicator lights make up the full set of controls, and the bottom paper tray can hold up to 150-sheets of normal paper.
