Brilliant Item - would recommend to anyone

I purchased this item from recommendation and I have not been disappointed. This neat handly photo printer prints out fantastic ink jet printer prints out 6" x 4" QUALITY photos in a apprioximately 10 seconds. The images are sharp and the colours super rich.

      Dimensions are (WxDxH): 25.2 cm x 11.7 cm x 13.4 cm - so a nice neat size
Weight is 1.31 kg - light enough to be easily transportable if necessary
      Has a USB interface.
Has a capacity to hold up to 20 sheets of photopaper.
Also comes with a 1 year warranty - but I had no need to use use as it has been very reliable.
      Max Resolution ( B&W ): 600 dpi
      Max Resolution ( Colour ): 4800 dpi x 1200 dpi

This neat compact item sits constantly on my desk for when I want to print off the odd photo or 20. It is so neat it does not need to be put away in between use. Mine is plugged into my pc so I can just print to that printer and off it whirrs. If however you don't have access to a pc you can add your either a memory stick taken directly from your camera and away you go. You can actually take it travelling with you and print where you are without a pc.

It is very easy to use, a good price, neat, does what it says on the box and more. The quality is second to none. I don't bother going to photo stores any more I just use my little printer. The quality is far superior I have found to normal deskjet printers.

It takes a HP110 colour ink cartridge which you can purchase for £10.85 from Amazon (or cheaper if you shop around). Which I found lasts for ages.

A lovely item and lovely to give as a gift also. One of the best things I have bought.

        Great for occasional use

I bought this printer over 3 years ago and must admit that I go through phases of using it non stop or storing it in a cupboard and forgetting that I have it. I suppose it is one of those gadgets that you can live without but it's nice to have all the same.If you are looking for a photo printer for occasional use I would happily recommend this one.

The design of the printer is fantastic. It's very compact, much smaller than a loaf of bread and the handle on top means that it's easy to move around. The screen on top is an adequate size and quality for you to be able to view your prints easily and avoid printing the wrong photo.

The printer is extremely easy to use. I especially like the feature that it can be used without access to a computer. You can insert your memory card from your camera directly into the printer and print your images this way. Alternatively if you do have a computer you can print images using the provided software. The HP photo printing software is extremely useful and easy to use. It also allows you to alter the size of the photos so rather than printing just one 6x4 photo you can print a page of smaller images ideal for scrapbooking or putting into your wallet. It also allows you to change the colour so you can print in black and White or sepia.

The picture quality is fantastic. The photos dry instantly and are very sharp with fantastic colours. I have ordered prints from photo box and snapfish in the past and also used the printing kiosks in boots and asda but the photos I've printed myself are just as good if not better quality.

The main drawback with using this printer is the cost of the ink. It uses the HP110 cartridge. Although it means instant photos it is often cheaper to order your prints online or use in store photo printers. The last cartridge I purchased was £25 from pc world. Unfortunately the cartridges only print approximately 50 photos so at 50p per print it is expensive (and this doesn't count the paper). I have however now had time to do a comparison search and if you shop wisely and order from the Internet you can buy the cartridges from £10 which makes it much more reasonable.

If you want to print lots of photos in a variety of larger sizes then this isn't the printer for you but if you are looking for a compact printer for printing smaller pictures occasionally the. This would be a good option.

Would recommend to anyone including technophobes

An excellent printer! I've bought a few A4 printers in recent years but I'm completely blown away by the amount of technology crammed into this little printer and the price tag makes it cheaper than most bottom end A4 printers.
This printer does both 5x7 and 4x6 photo colour prints. It's incredibly compact, folding down to the size of a small hangbag but folds out to have a full LCD screen with menus, paper catcher, paper tray and an impressive array of connectivity options.
I purchased this printer with the bluetooth widget so now people can come round to our house and print pictures from their phone.
The picture quality is really impressive, definitely the same standard as professionally developed pictures and if you use remanufactured cartridges with unbranded paper the cost works out less than going to a highstreet retailer!
The software in the printer is sufficient - you can browse a memory card by viewing thumbnails and the memory card options will cover most people with a USB cable for PC/Phone/Camera connectivity. This is a very complete photo printing solution that will meet the needs of most people.
