It uses the K3 inks (although not the new bright magenta option), which combined with its printing mechanism is an eliminates the problem of printing blacks on high gloss paper. It also automatically recognises your matte or glossy paper choice and changes the cartridge fairly economically, a seriously useful facility. 	Canon imagePROGRAF IPF600 ... s a canon thing I ve used this printer for about 2 years now I honestly don t know where to start. I think the best point is purchase cost, £2000 get s you an A1 photo quality roll fed printer, with an A3/A4 cassette, a stand and paper catch basket. I believe The reason for chosing this printer over others was price. The practice originally had an overworked HP 120 A1 printer, that gave up quite quickly, due to the excessive frequency of use. It was also annoying because it was A1 sheet fed. Although Canon invest in R&D, they have the worst customer relations in my opinion. 	Epson Stylus Pro 4800 ... can do many things with the Stylus Pro 4800. It is a large format printer aimed at the small business end of the market as well as the home user and it offers a range of specialized and flexible media options. I am at present setting up a graphic design and screen printing business and I hired the Pro 4800 in order to do some large scale images. The printer gives you the ability to print up to 17" wide on a variety of media types. This is a heavy device compared to other printers I have used and can prove quite a strain when shifting it about, in fact you might need more than one person.
