The built-in Digital Darkroom Direct Digital Input feature reads both SmartMedia and CompactFlash digital film for the ultimate in convenience for printing digital photos. Just drop the camera card into the front-mounted slot, push the button to print, and get your printed images. The printer has a built-in Camera Computer for multiple picture formats, frames and text messages.

The Photo Jetprinter 5770 comes with a photo print cartridge for photo quality prints, and a color print cartridge for everyday color and monochrome printing. Since the photo print cartridge can be removed and replaced with a color or black print cartridge, the 5770 can be used for everyday printing as well. With a 1200x1200 dpi resolution and laser-crafted dual-head print heads, it prints brilliant colors and sharp detail on a variety of media at 4 ppm color, and 8 ppm monochrome. Lexmark's Accu-Feed paper feed system can sense the difference between paper types and adjusts the handling to reduce jams and misfeeds. The printer uses a Drop & Go feature that holds the media ready without having to move paper feed levers. Print on card stock, fancy and plain paper, transparencies, labels and more for consistently agreeable results.
