Advantages: Good quality scan and print, well recognised manufacturer Lexmark.

Disadvantages: Ink replacement can be costly if used on a regular basis.

We have 2 Lexmark X2350 all in one inkjet printer and scanner units at home as they came as part of a package with some laptops purchased a couple of years ago.

Both units have been used quite reguarly and still perform aswell now as when first purchased.
It was a quick process to install the printer, simply plug in the power and usb lead and insert the driver disc, the installation wizard automatically starts up and the drivers and application are installed within a minute or two.

The unit has a white and grey sleek design which is basic but has a professional feel about it, it can print up to 12 pages per minute in either colour or black and has a maximum DPI of 4800x1200 in colour and 1200x1200 in black.

The Lexmark software is pretty straight forward to use, you can perform cartridge alignment, print test pages, start scans and print from files within a couple of clicks.
It is also possible to scan or duplicate an image by the click of a button on the top of the device.

The original ink cartridges are around £20 for each the colour and the black so costing £40 every time both cartridges run out, however duplicate cartridges can be purchased online for around £20 for the pair however quality is affected when using cheaper produced cartridges.

Also another negative along with the price is if you replace a cartridge and the other runs out you must then buy another as it will not print with just colour or just black which doesn't make sense really!

Generally quite satisfied with this product and would recommend as a budget printer for initial costs but can be long term costly with the replacement of ink!

Summary: A well priced home or small office printer with a good quality output which performs reliably!
