The reason I got this printer is because my Epson one hadn't worked and in a contract with the company I had got my computer with I could update it if this happened. I didn't think much of it at first because I wanted a fast printer but as long as the quality was ok I didn't mind. I immediately needed things printed off so I got the ink cartridges which were quite ezpensive costing smething like £29 for black or colour. I installed them easily all you do is clip them on to where the instruction manual tells you. Installing the printer itself was easy the first print you will do is a target print to see that it's the right size. Then ... Read the complete review

I've always rated HP as being the best for sturdy, reasonably priced printers but, when I got a Lexmark Z32 free with my PC, I embraced the opportunity to try something new. The print quality was exceptionally good for a budget printer. It was pretty fast for an inkjet (about 9pages per min at full speed) but I did notice, rather alarmingly, that it couldn't print without dancing on the desk and making rather a lot of noise (and when I say a lot of noise, I can remember the days when printers and PCs were more like heavy duty machinary than their modern, desktop counterparts). Within a few months, things started to go, shall we say, a little ... Read the complete review

Inkjet printers continue to fall in price and not just the budget models. Lexmarks high performance Z33 model, for instance, sells for an eye catching seventy nine pounds. The design of the Z33 has been trumpeted by Lexmark as space saving but the key dimensions of the width and deph are not much different from the Z23. True, its not as tall as its predecessor but unless your roof is very low, this shouldnt be an issue. A cursory gamnce at Lexmarks website shows a speed quote of nine pages per minute (ppm) for the Z33. This seems impressive, nudging close to good, budget laser printing. Dig a little further into the printers specification though, and ... Read the complete review

I work at a computer store where we sell many Lexmark Colour inkjet printers. It is true that the cartridge life is very poor on lexmark printers and that is the biggest complaint from most users of Lexmark printers. Personnaly, I think their print quality is average when compared to say an Epson or and HP product. Comparably the Epson 777 sells for 119 Canadian which has much better print quality and better cartridge life for only $20 more. So after all this....Why buy a Lexmark? WARRANTY! It's lexmark's warranty that sells their printers. Lexmark (at least Lexmark Canada) offers what they call the LexExpress warranty. If there is a ... Read the complete review

You've been probably thinking how good is this printer by todays standars. Skipping the technological spcifics this printer is as avrage as avrage gets. It's good for personal use, for making essays for school or printing buisness documents. It has very nice detail (resolution) and at maximum it can get extraordinarily clear pictures even for a ink-jet printer. The speed is just bearable becouse with added detail it also takes more time so with a medium detail, b/w page it's speed whould be 3-4 ppm. It's dual-headed so you can print only b/w or only colour without having to replenish a whole cartridge. The cartridges themself cost like a brand new printer ... Read the complete review
