Advantages: good prints, easy to follow, quite quick

The reason I got this printer is because my Epson one hadn't worked and in a contract with the company I had got my computer with I could update it if this happened. I didn't think much of it at first because I wanted a fast printer but as long as the quality was ok I didn't mind.

I immediately needed things printed off so I got the ink cartridges which were quite ezpensive costing smething like £29 for black or colour. I installed them easily all you do is clip them on to where the instruction manual tells you.

Installing the printer itself was easy the first print you will do is a target print to see that it's the right size. Then after that the colour and black ink should be full and you can go to properties and then change it to landscape or portrait, for a better print you can choose the dpi (dots per inch) how goo the quality is I did 1200 that's the highest for this but it's still good and you can choose the paper types as well for the best print.

The quality of the print came out well it isn't as slow as my previous one but it is quite slow for picture although when it is doing writing it is very fast so it works good.

When the printer starts printing don't bescared it's just a man saying printing started then when it ends he goes printing complete or if there is a problem he will say problem communicatin with the printer in his annoying american accent.

When doing t shirt transfers this will do them the wrong way round which is really godo and it's all worked out well so it makes printing easy for you.

If there are any problems with your cartridges you get in touch with Lexmark and they hsould replace whatever it is quickly but remember they are a French company.

When printing out photos onto glossy paper this made them look brilliant the quality is just greatand the printer is brilliant. Since I got the printer as an update from the company I cannot te
ll the price but I do know that these are sold at many good computer shops and won't be too expensive.
