... Must be about four years old and has had that usage now for the whole time. So for getting my money worth out oof the printer i can't complain. So of the problems i have encountered with the printer are ; 1) paper intake when there is only a few sheets left tends slip. The driving rollers pull the paper in at an angle but this is solved by filling the paper in feed up when it get down to 2 or 3 sheets. 2) the cartridge tolley that hold the cartridges and moves up and down teh printer to allow it to print has collection...more

Premium Review Lexmark Z33: Cheap printer, Expensive ink... (862 words)

The Lexmark Z33 printer is starting to get on a bit now, but despite its age it can still produce excellent results. Prior to owning this printer I'd never owned a Lexmark product before. I'd heard the name, and believed it to be a quality brand. The printer came as part of a bundle when I bought a new PC a few years back. The Looks ******************** Not important to everyone, but I like my things to look nice, as well as do the job. The Z33 came in a few standard PC equipment colours such as black, charcoal, and grey. Mine's black. Without getting my ruler out, the length of the printer is as long as my keyboard, so not too long, and its ...  Read the complete review

The Lexmark Z33 i have was bought as part of a package deal with Dell. The printer is a great little printer and does it job great. It uses Lexmark no 16 black print cartridges and Lexmark no 26 colour print cartridges. I have had this a while now and it has developed a few problems but is still being used around to print at least 20 pages a day. I purchased a Z33 because Argos were doing a special package offer with a scanner. At first the printer looked really good and cheap. However, replacement cartridges do not come cheap and when I bought mine it had just be realeased and it was very difficuilt to find them - Argos did not even sell them and they supplied the printer. This situation has now improved with more models using this cartridge meaning most places sell it. One major tip though is to look on the internet as recently I saved nearly eight pounds on buying form a mail order company(valuesop.co.uk) instead of a high street retailer(argos) This problem is even worse because the int cartridges run ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review It's quite good (87 words)
by - written on 21/07/05 (Somewhat useful, 71 readings)

I purchased this printer a few years ago with a pc package deal. The quality is quite good, however it is quite slow at times. The printer is quite old compared to some others available on the market. This printer is ideal for occaisional use for example home use. I personally found the ink to run out quite quickly and found ink cartridges to be a bit expensive. The printer itself is quite inexpensive, however i would prefer one of the newer lexmarks to use at ...  Read the complete review
