Advantages: purchase price

Disadvantages: cartridges expensive and don't last long

Have installed many a Lexmark printer and yes they are quite nice printers.

They have a small footprint and fairly quiet and smooth operation. The print quality is nothing special comparable with many printers on the market.

Their drawbacks lie with the cartridge itself. The cartridges do not last long and and quite expensive to replace, they are even quite difficult to re-fill.

So while they may be cheaper to purchase initially, beware of the hidden cost of usage.
