Bought this great printer about two months ago. Quality is fabulous, especially on maximum resolution with photo paper. Prints text very fast, faster than my laser. Interface is basically common sense. The paper is grabbed VERY violently, which means precision printing like CD jewel case labels can be tricky as it tends to skew the image by a millimeter or so - not much but enough to frustrate occasionally. But it's worth every penny of the very low price considering the quality. All well and good...BUT... There is a flipside. If you are running Windows ME you may encounter a whole host of problems, the least of which is that the printer software is very ... Read the complete review

I originally bought this as a compromise with my bosses, who refused to pay any more than £125.00 for a printer. I was looking for a printer that could turn out very fast draft print for documentation proofing, which would normally point at a laser, but i also needed some limited colour graphics capability for reports. I had seen the Lexmark Z51 and had decided that this would be the best compromise, but was told by my supplier that it had been replaced by the Z52. I had not seen any reviews, but i took the printer on blind faith and i am so pleased i did. I got the printer direct from a third party supplier for £118, which is £17 under RRP, so it is worth ... A year after the Z51 from Lexmark which was a remarkable printer, comes the Z52. The Z52 is the same series as the Z51 but its slightly larger in size. Thoughtfull of Lexmark to send one CD for a PC and one for a MAC, I think you will be amazed at how many companies leave out the MAC from the instalation even though the hardware will work on it. The Price is even less than the Z51 was when it came out but you lose the corel software (may have something to do with the rumours of Corel going bust). The connecters are either USB or Parralell, you can use either one but you are only supplied with a paralell cable. Strange really cause if its a brand new ... Read the complete review

I got this printer as as a bundle with my new computer from Dan technologies, so I was expecting it to behave well (Dan have developed a reputation for decent computer packages). Even so , I was impressed the first time I used this. The installation was a complete doddle - put in the disc, and everything worked just fine. The only difficult part was trying to see which of the little lines that the printer offered was the straightest, in order to get the alignment settings correct. The first thing I did was turn off the voice -who on earth thought that a talking printer was a turn on? Then I gave it a test print on a picture from the supplied disk. ... Read the complete review

Lexmark... When people here this name, most people think "What is he talking about?" Lexmark have only gone large with there business in the last 5 years, and their latest product, the Z52 is, to be honest, the best inkjet printer I have ever seen. The quality is outstanding, with a massive 2400x1200 dpi, using a new diffusion technology (I watched when QVC introduced the product :]). Even at 600x600 DPI, the quality is outstanding, and the printer is inexpensive. Depending where you get it from, it can range from £80 with no extras up to £150 with some CD's and printer cables. I received 8 sheets of photo paper, Disney Print Studio, a ... Read the complete review
