Trust me, don't waste your money on this disdainful piece of hell, I've had it returned to me three times by Olivetti, and every time it'll break after about a week, and I've tested it on multiple PC's. What a rip off this has turned out to be.... It was only 69.99 when I got mine, included were two ink cartridges a colour,& a black & white. Sounds good. Well I`m no proffesional so the printer is good enough for me. Hasn`t give me a problem ever. The quality, well this is good....even the colour is fine. One day though, it happened the ink run dry. Off I went to buy a new colour cartridge....I couldn`t believe it £44 !!! I bought a refill kit instead £9.99. It didn`t work though, the ink just leaked out the bottom. I had my first proper PC for home, games and schoolwork exactly 12 months ago. I needed all the attachments to go with it such as scanner, microphone, paper tray , oh, and a printer. Being short on both room and money I had to get my printer from my home shopping catalogue. Okay, I knew that they were more expensive than in the shops but needs must when the devil drives! I recently bought a olivetti jp192 at staples warehouse. After six weeks it became faulty with the paper going into the printer at an angle which caused the paper to jam due to one of the rollers not working. I rang up staples about the printer, They told me to ring up olivetti which I done. I explained to customer servies about my fault on the printer, They told me to take all the leads out and the ink printhead, A courrier will bring you a replacement out and collect your faulty printer tomorrow. As someone who has had the grave misfortune of selling these printers let me say that if you're thinking of buying one, don't bother. The print resolution is appalling, with banding and visible ink dots. The colour matching could be done better by a 3 year old with a pack of crayons and it is painstakingly slow. This particular printer had a 75% return rate which is unacceptably high. The drivers were often corrupted or in the wrong language, installation is difficult and slow, and the printer is incompatible with most scanners or digital camera devices. I like my printer but not only does it not turn off automatically like it should,only after a print job,but the print heads are horrendously expensive.I was quoted £36.00 for one.Refills are cheaper but the heads have to be replaced after about 5 refills.There is also normally a wait to get one.I was told at least a fortnight where I live.Also the ink does not seem to last long.To save paper I usually abort the print job.I would not buy it again. ...
