	Olivetti JP 192 ... J192 for christmas and its a wonderful product. its easy to set up and use unless you live in Cornwall and then finding the replacement cartridges becomes a little like trying to find the beast of Bodmin. Our nearest outlet is over 30 miles away in Truro. but I would recommend this printer to anyone who only needs a basic colour printer, the quality is good for the range and its good enough to present an entertaining newsletter for line dancing. thats something my wife teaches so its important we can cover that. 	Olivetti JP 192 ... Olivetti LP192 printer is possessed! It started a year or so ago when we got this printer thing with our PC from Comet. I unwrapped it and realised it was actually second hand, all covered in ink and cellotaped up into an obviously well used and abused box, with what looked like an electric kettle flex stuffed in with it! I took it back and two weeks later we got a new one with the right lead but no paper..I spent two days trying to install it before my wife finally got it plumbed in, (it kept throwing up errors)... I got some paper and it just dragged the whole lot through on the first print attempt...I eventually got something printed and then it said out ... 	Olivetti JP 192 ... visible ink dots. The colour matching could be done better by a 3 year old with a pack of crayons and it is painstakingly slow. This particular printer had a 75% return rate which is unacceptably high. The drivers were often corrupted or in the wrong language, installation is difficult and slow, and the printer is incompatible with most scanners or digital camera devices. Customer service by Olivetti is poor with a turnaround time, from sending your printer to be fixed to getting it back, of about 8 weeks. The ink cartridges are about 30 pounds each which is not good considering that the printer itself can be bought for under £40 with a bit of shopping around. It&#...
