Razer Destructor ... lot of people would argue mouse pads are useless because of laser mice being very accurate, but I think it can make all that difference in intense gaming. First of all, the mouse pad itself isn t that cheap. it was about £30 which is expensive really. It has the Razer fractal technology, which is the surfacing of the mousepad, which should mean better precision movements compared to other mouse pads but without the slipping. A gripe I have it that its size isn t great, it could have been bigger, especially considering the price of it. Razer Destructor ... on offer here. The size of this mouse mat is pretty big, measuring 350mm (length) x 280mm (width) x 2.3mm (height). It is very thin though and has a nice non-slip backing. You might think that £26 (the cheapest I could find it) is a lot to play for just a mouse mat, but this is far from ordinary. The surface is so so smooth and it provides really precise tracking. Switching between this and my regular mouse mat (like a 99p one) using a Micrososft Natural Laser Mouse 6000 really showed the difference. The Razer Destructor performed so much better and made using the mouse a lot less of an effort. In my opinion, because I use my mouse so so much it is worth every penny.... Razer Pro Solution ProPad ... optical mice hit the scene they were touted to be capable of tracking on almost any surface, in much the same way that a CD smeared with jam would still play. Users soon came to realise that whilst optical mice were a massive step forward, if you wanted accurate movement the mouse surface was still very important. The Razer Pro Pad aims to gives you a far superior surface to those 99p squishy jobs that you can buy in your local supermarket. Standard mouse mats are OK, but the rubberised offerings are not great for smooth optical tracking.
