Disadvantages: Break easy, flimsy, waste of money

These 'gaming keyboards' are getting popular in high street stores. No matter which computer or gaming retailer you go into the chances are you'll run into one of these little guys - often stashed away high upon a shelf, or hidden inside a glass display case! Probably so you can't touch them and check on the quality for yourself!

A lot of people look at them and think "why do I need this keyboard???". Let's face it - it's a damn good question to ask, too!

People who play the evil known as World of Warcraft may be interested in trying one of these out. I've heard a lot of bad things about them and to be perfectly honest with you, after trying one out around a friends I think they are a total waste of your time and money.

To be fair guys and gals... if you're a World of Warcraft player, or any MMORPG player for that matter - do yourself a favour and don't buy something like this. Resist the temptation at all cost, it's a fad and nothing more. If you're going to be playing an MMORPG and you plan to upgrade your keyboard you will do yourself more good by purchasing a decent ergonomic keyboard. It will prevent you from damaging your hands, fingers and wrists while spending many hours playing World of Warcraft.
